Flood lamps have a two-part reflector for
a steady energy spreading on the floodlight surface.
The optimum reflection in the peripheral area enables
an exclusive radiation of the work-piece, without reflecting
into the inside of the light source. The result is an
almost square characteristic of the energy distribution,
without the usual “energy peaks” that occur
in the center of the radiation field with common light
sources.
